There are seven Hunter x Hunter characters who are more powerful than Game.

Ging Freecss is an excellent Hunter, and his talent for Nen isn't a joke. He can learn techniques with startling ease. Although he appears to be gifted, Hunter x Hunter has also featured absolute freaks who make even the best of nature seem normal.

Meruem makes Ging's Hunter look smaller

Meruem survived for only a few months and completely surpassed the human race's most powerful fighters. The Chimera Ant King grew stronger by swallowing and absorbing Nen users, and possessed an aura that was unlikely to compete with most Hunters. Although Ging had spent years exploring the world while mastering Nen, he built up Meruim to win in battles.

Isaac Netero learns the hard way. He has unleashed thousands of attacks from his 100-type Guanyin Bodhisattva, but Meruem keeps pushing forward by avoiding and adapting until he finally finds a hole.

Gong the Elder sets fire to his own future and overtakes Jingjing's shadow.

Gon Freecss tries for years to find Ging, but his transformation into an adult gives him power and makes the quest ridiculous.

In Ep 131, the adults' transformation occurs during their battle with Neferpitou. Neferpito's reaction says a lot - the Royal Guard senses Gon's aura and realizes how dangerous he is. Gong then descends on a damaged Jajanken Rock, leaving Pitou unable to fight back.

Gong had to pay a terrible price for this power, giving up his future nan potential in one tragic moment because of the vulture. Jin did not need to make such an unfortunate trade, but it didn't change what Gong had achieved at its peak. In a short period of time, Gong reached a level of power that her father had never shown before.

Prime Netero turns prayer into the fastest fist in the world.

Isaac Netero turned daily training into a habit, which caused most of his fighters to leave before breakfast. After he gave ten thousand thankful wounds per day, he eventually created the 100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Even in his old age, Netero gave Meruem a battle that few others could manage; his Bodhisattva attacked quickly and the Chimera Ant King had to observe his movements to find an opening. Prime Netero would have more strength and endurance, making it even harder for him to deal with these attacks. The game's genius is remarkable, but competing against the chimera ant king was an entirely different matter.

As president of the Hunters' Association, Netero had power to sustain his authority and he never relied on his title; his speed, experience, and tremendous offensive ability made him safer in a level-playing field.

Beyond Netero, Expedition Leader Ging has to answer

Ging Freecss is one of the best Hunters in Hunter x Hunter, but Beyond Netero gives him a real competition. Isaac Netero's son leads Kakin's expedition to the Dark Continent and Ging takes over as his personal second-in-command.

Despite Geng's formidable reputation, Beyond undertakes a journey to the place where even the strongest hunters can lose. Because his experience makes him a serious threat, he has spent years preparing for the Dark Continent and leading an expedition into its deadly realm.

Being a skilled hunter is one thing, but it takes real courage to lead people into the most dangerous territory on earth. Beyond also inherits his father's ruthlessness and love of danger and pursues challenges that would have driven most of them away.

Don Freecss had explored the Dark Continent centuries before Ging.

Ging Freecuss has built his reputation on chasing the mysteries, while Don Freecass had been exploring the Dark Continent centuries before him. He's published a book about a place where his journey defeated countless hunters and even he is following in the footsteps left by Ging.

Don's greatest strength is his experience with the Dark Continent, where ordinary Hunter missions are fraught with threats that make them seem like a walk in the park. Although Ging has amazing Nen skills, don's accomplishments mean a level of experience she can never approach.

Zigg Zoldyck built up a family of assassins and conquered them all.

Zigg Zoldyck comes from a family with an extensive slaughter business, and his daughters helped to build that ominous reputation. As Killua's great-grandfather, he is of the same bloodline as Silva and Zeno.

His journey to the Dark Continent with Isaac Netero further solidifies his case. This was no ordinary Hunter mission.

And Zigg has had years of experience cutting a fence and learning how to recognize his weaknesses before the opponent retaliates. So there are many reasons why Ging might be afraid, but it's different when he encounters someone behind Zigg.

Nanika gave me wishes that even the gin couldn't satisfy.

Although Geng is renowned for his Nan skills, Nankika plays by rules that make even the most gifted hunters look ordinary. By living inside Alluca's Zoldyck, Nankin can grant wishes with effects far beyond anything Geng has ever shown. The scary part isn't about a more powerful punch or having multiple auras; instead, Nankaninka can do things that nan specialists struggle to imagine.

After Gong's mutation damaged his body, Nanikka healed him and repaired the damage that no ordinary therapy could.

The Bible says: "The heart is more treacherous than anything else and is desperate".

This comparison is not to dismiss the game's potential; there are many characters whose displayed abilities, combat backgrounds, exploratory leadership, ancestral experience or desire effects make up an as yet unclear ceiling from previously known battles. The question is whether Geng can match Merum's adaptive dominance, Elder Gong's unleashing of supreme power, Nitro's speed and top shot production in Beyond, Dong's centuries-old Dark Continent experience, Zygga's conspiratorial mindset, and Red Desire's illusionary influences.
