When will Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 2 be released?

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 2, estru The God of Destruction Heads to the Planet of the Kai, will premiere in Japan on October 18 at 11:15 pm. Toei Animation's reimagining continues the story more deeply than the original film from ၂၀၁၅ and uses faster-paced slow motion and enhanced visuals to present it as an accurate retelling of the Beerus Saga over a decade later.

Hulu will also air part 2 on the same day, but has not yet announced an exact time. A few days later, the episode is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in select territories on October 21, with Netflix expected to debut on Saturday, October 24.

Part 2 moves the re-creation to Goku's greatest battle.

This episode of the original ၂၀၁၅ anime is notorious for its inconsistent cinematic quality. Therefore, I am using Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 2 as an opportunity to see Goku's first battle with Beerus as it was intended to be shown.

Using the preview shown at the end of Act 1, the episode will arrive at the beginning of Beerus' confrontation with Goku on King Kai's planet. Before powering up to Super Saiyan 3, Goku is trading blows and shots while using his super-Saiyan. This time is more important than attacking, because it can decide whether Dragon Ball DAIMA continues even as Dragon Ball Super.

In the original series, Beerus effortlessly defeated Goku's Super Saiyan 3 version in the opening arc of Dragon Ball Super. The scene and surrounding combat is often remembered for its weaker animation; it was hoped that an artistic upgrade to the remake would give the same event a more intense visual impact.

While asleep, he had an idea about a man called Super Saiyan God, a figure powerful enough to entertain him after centuries of boredom. Meanwhile, Son Goku, savior of the planet, spends his days peacefully practicing farming while battling Earth's greatest enemy Majin Buu, unaware of all the destructive forces he will soon face.

As the second series of the Dragon Ball Super anime ends in ၂၀၁၅ AD, Episode 1 reminds Beerus once again about the subject of his dream. This is a fairly fast-paced slowdown, especially since Goku competes with Cell, Frieza and Buu on an image training course.

A faster pace has fewer side effects.

In order for Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 2 to reach Goku's Super Saiyan 3 transformation, the remake would be no less than half a fifth of the original ၂၀၁၅ anime. To get there, the series seems to cut through many pieces of life from the earlier arc, including Bulma's birthday party scenes and side adventures with Goten and Trunks in a bingo tournament alongside Pilaf Gang.

The breakneck pacing makes it seem like fans are missing items from the original series, but the core storyline remains intact. Part of the speed boost is moving through individual scenes quickly without sacrificing narrative. The main difference is simple: While the original Dragon Ball Super required four episodes to reach its much-anticipated grand finale, the remake arrived in both seasons with better art and animation.

Streaming time and format

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus was originally expected to begin arriving on Crunchyroll about an hour after its Japanese broadcast, at around 10:15 am Eastern Standard Time, but Episode 1 didn't arrive on the platform until just past noon Eastern Standard time. Until further notice, fans should expect a similar timing for upcoming series.

The series is scheduled to follow the same release schedule throughout its run, and will have a total of 19 episodes. New episodes appear every Sunday on Crunchyroll and Hulu, reaching Netflix on Saturdays.

Arc Plan and completion date

It is also anticipated how the remake will differentiate its story arcs: Beerus Saga, God of Destruction, and Golden Frieza Saga are expected to run for six episodes each, while Universe 6 Tournament is expected to last seven episodes.

With that facility, the Beerus Saga is expected to conclude on November 15, while the Golden Frieza Saga will begin the following week on November 22. This is followed by the Golden Fries Arc which is expected for completion on December 27, and a Universe 6 tournament starting January 3.

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will run until early ၂၀၂၇. Its season finale aired on Crunchyroll on Valentine's Day and is expected to reach Netflix by February 20.

Premiere material and dub status

Toei Animation has premiered a preview of the Dragon Ball Super anime remake, titled Beerus, with material covering its spring release in ၂၀၂၆. The current broadcast and streaming schedule is for the series to move quickly through the Beerus Saga and build into later arcs including the Universe 6 series.

The biggest questions at the moment are whether part 2 will confirm or deny Dragon Ball DAIMA's official status, and if re-creation of the original ၂၀၁၅ anime's spin-offs will continue to be cut short for fast storytelling.
