Beerus ridiculed Vegeta in the form of an Ultra Ego earlier on in Dragon Ball Super.

The purple glow of Beerus chapter 3 hints at Vegeta's anger, and the Galick Gun is already exposed to Ultra Ego power, reconstituting Beerus' 10 percent line.

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Part 3 also makes fun of the power of Vegeta's Ultra Ego.

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 3 is part of a new anime remake, and the storyline comes at a time when Goku is set to receive an entirely new twist in the upcoming series, with even superhuman gods being nothing compared to what Goku and Vegeta will accomplish in future arcs.

Vegeta's Super Saiyan wrath has a new aura.

Titled "The God of Destruction Heads to Earth", Part 3 focuses on the battle between Vegeta and Beerus during Bulma's birthday party. As in the original ၂၀၁၅ anime, Vegeta transforms into a Super Saiyan after Beerus hits Bulma and receives a huge boost from his super saiyan rage. Unlike the original anime, vegetas powered-up transformation features purple lightning underneath his aura.

This change gives new support to Beerus' line. His power of ၁၀% was used against Vegeta, and Vegeta had more challenges than even Super Saiyan 3 Goku. The line has always been controversial among Dragon Ball Super fans, but the purple aura makes it feel more relevant.

Toei's image shows Vegeta firing a Galick Gun in Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 3, and the same attack is featured in Goku's battle with Vegeta in the Dragon Ball Z anime, named after Toei.

Why did the violet glow change the meaning of Galick's gun?

Although Vegeta exhibits this kind of purple glow when he fires his iconic Galick Gun, it does not retain that color even in Super Saiyan form. The only time she displays this type of aura with purple electricity is during an Ultra Ego transformation. Thus the new visual alteration reverses the meaning of Vegeta's original purple glare while using a gallic gun.

When Vegeta first uses the Galick Gun in Saiyan Saga, he tells Goku "I've had enough of this planet! I will turn blue with you!" and then warns Goku that if he avoids the Gallic weapon, he must be "prepared to blow up Earth".

In the Manga panels honored by Shueisha, Ultra Ego Vegeta shows Granolah in Dragon Ball Super manga being hit on the head, empowered and firing a grenade.

Ultra Ego is the culmination of Vegeta's evolution.

Vegeta's journey to power in Dragon Ball Super isn't easy. He continues to train tirelessly, but it took him longer than Goku to achieve his breakthrough with Ultra Ego.

In Dragon Ball Super, her plot is about learning to give up the fear of destroying things because she regrets her past. Vegeta fears becoming destructive again as she wants to be a hero who protects her family and their new home on Earth.

In Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Part III, something inside Vegeta is disconnected when Virgo hits Barma. After a while he can no longer control this gentle destructive impulse. As JUST releases everything to destroy Earth with the first Galick Gun, in Dragon Ball Z, Vegeta throws Alert into the air and attacks Virgo with all she has.

There appears to be a purpose behind the new visual change during "My Bulma" in Dragon Ball Super: Beerus. No direct confirmation has yet been made, and fans don't need to expect that either Toei or Capsule Corp Tokyo will speak openly about this topic anytime soon. However, with Toyotarou taking over the manga himself, it would make sense for the lore of dragon ball super to become a new status quo.

New episodes of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus arrive every Sunday on Crunchyroll and Hulu, and are available next Saturday at Netflix .
