We rated the six micro-conventions as the most powerful -- Transformers .
The most powerful Mini-Cons are rated Transformers . Sparkplug, Leader-1, Swindle and Perceptor show how Powerlinx is changing the battles between Autobots and Decepticons.
Transformers : The Armada gave a name and purpose to the tradition of miniature companion robots when they introduced Mini-Cons. Unlike Soundwave and Blaster's squads, these tiny Cybertronians can power any Transformer with Powerlinx technology, and the most powerful among them could change the course of warfare.
A match: the cannon multiplier of Optimus Prime.
Not all Mini-Cons were able to avoid conflict. In the early days of the Cybertronian Civil War, Sparkplug worked with the Autobots to protect his people from Megatron and served as an ally for Optimus Prime.
Sparkplug is one of the first Mini-Cons to be discovered by Autobots and Decepticons, despite having been undisturbed on Earth for millions of years. The Deception were close to gaining control over him, but Optimus saved Perceptor before he could get his hands on him. When it first appeared, Sparklug charged Artemis' pistol and blew up both Megatron and Starscream in a single attack.
Captain One: The Force Multiplier of Megatron.
Captain 1 is one of the first Mini-Cons to appear in Transformers : Armada, appearing in the fourth series when the Decepticons defeat the Autobots. He looks gorgeous, but he's an early example of how dangerous minicons can be in the wrong hands like Megatron.
Leader-1's history with Megatron dates back to the earliest days of the war, but he abandoned him in order to join his fellow Mini-Cons on a quest for freedom and eventually led them all to Earth. Unfortunately, he was one of the first Mini-Con found on Earth by the Decepticons, who put him into MegaTron's arms.
Swindle: Starscream's laser gun has been upgraded
Few Decepticons have attempted to acquire Mini-Con as much as Starscream. The Autobots let him arrive first, and he spent several chapters searching for one while Megatron refused. When he finally got his own, he was proud enough to name the Mini-con after himself.
Swindle became useful almost immediately. In the midst of battle, his Powerlinx gave Starscream access to a set of zero-laser weapons that could destroy anything in sight, giving him powers greater than anyone had ever imagined. Swindle would later reveal the power to massively upgrade both himself and Starscream. After a battle with Nemesis Prime where StarScream was defeated, Swindle borrowed his powers to greatly transform StarStream, making him one of the most powerful Decepticons in the Armada universe.
Sensor - A Peace-Friendly Integrator
Even the Mini-Cons have their own group of compilers, and the Perceptor we first saw on Armada is a product of Street Action Team, Grindor, Sureshock and High Wire all combined into one robot.
Perceptor first appears at a time when Megatron and Starscream are on the verge of surrendering Optimus Prime to him. Even before things go too far, Perception emerges and gives Opticum an opportunity to regroup; using its incredible speed and power, it is unable to stop both StarScream and Megatran. He can easily transform in any battle, but ultimately becomes the most peace-loving robot that will only appear under extreme circumstances and never show up.
Space Defense Team: The nearly infinite power of the Star Saber.
The air defense team's image completely changes the Autobot-Decepticon war. While previous groups have only hunted Mini-Cons, the power of this group forces them to find something new: Combatants who combine their strength together and create a powerful Star Saber rather than being empowered by Powerlinx, Sonar, Runaway, and Jetstorm.
The weapon was originally made by Unicron and has almost infinite power, so it can cut through anything in its path. Unlike the other Mini-Cons, Star Saber is dangerous even on Earth; his powers have destroyed advanced civilization in the past. While Requiem Blaster and Skyboom Shield are also powerful, StarSaber differs from them and relies on Hot Shot's limitations to be perfectly attained by competing against skilled enemies such as Senger.
Space Mini-Con team: They tried to use the Requiem Blaster.
As the war intensified, it became increasingly important to find more powerful Mini-Cons. However, not all Mini-Con were intended for infantry in the Civil War; especially the Space Mini-con team of Payload, Sky Blast and Astroscope attempted to avoid use.
Unlike most Mini-Cons, who were held back by their weakness, the three of them knew that their energies were too dangerous for battle and together they created what has been described as the most powerful energy weapon in the galaxy: the Requiem Blaster. By drawing on each Mini-Con's different properties, the text says it draws the power of a black hole.
What do these Mini-Cons mean for the series?
Mini-Cons centers on the Armada in its pursuit: a race to find and control tiny robots capable of deciding battles with Powerlinx capabilities. What stands out from these six examples is Sparkplug's supporting role, ranging from Leader-1's brute firepower to Perceptor's peacekeeping, opposed by Space Squadron. Air Defense Team's Star Saber elevated the stakes altogether over Powerlinz, making both sides pursue some kind of weapon rather than an ally.
