One Piece has officially revealed Naomi's new vision.
One Piece revealed a new Nami card designed by Kentaro Yabuki for the release of Heroines Edition Part II. Kentaro Yabuki announces Nami's design for the heroes of One Piece, Part 2
Captain Nami of the Straw Hat Pirates received a new One Piece card design drawn by manga artist Kentaro Yabuki instead of Eiichiro Oda, creator of One piece. The one-piece anime is on hiatus while the manga continues to promote his battle with Nerona Imu. The card will be released in ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2 [EB-05] and supporting imagery via Bandai.
It's a familiar look at the irony of another creator.
One Piece features several iconic anime characters, with Naomi being the longest-lived and most popular. She has received numerous cards, but her new card is the first to be designed by Yabuki, a classic manga artist behind To LOVE-Ru and Black Cat.
The image is reminiscent of Naomi, and Yubuki's own turn falls on the cat-thief and weather witch. She appears in an old Eastern blue dress from the early days of One Piece with original short orange hair, a blue striped white top and orange pinstripe. The greedy thief carries a large amount of money and spreads more out over his shirt.

Yubuki's background fills the context for the design. She drew To LOVE-Ru from ၂၀၀၆ to ၂၀၀၉ and the series received an anime adaptation in ၂၀၀၈ Shueisha serialized a sequel of To Love-Ru Darkness from ၂၀၁၀ to ၂၀၁၇ Her other manga, Black Cat, was a weekly Shōnen Jump classic that ran for 24 episodes between ၂၀၀၀ and The cult epic assassin drama Train Heartnet became beloved on its day၂၀၀၅ and gained its own anime adaptations.
Why is the card so important?
One Piece is one of the biggest anime and single-largest manga in the world, and has exploded into the trading card game universe over the past few years. After initially coming out of nowhere, it's suddenly one the biggest names on the scene alongside Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon , Magic: The Gathering and Lorcana .
A further detail for readers is how the card landed when ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2 [EB-05] was released. The One Piece cast includes Mayumi Tanaka as Monkey D. Luffy and Kazuya Nakai as Roronoa Zoro's voice.
