Here are the six most powerful Decepticon Seekers ever rated.
The six most powerful Decepticon Seekers are ranked by power, speed and tactics, highlighting the key abilities of Starscream, Sunstorm and Skywarp.
The Transformers explorers on three jets grew into a Decepticon threat.
The Seekers were one of the first Decepticon groups, introduced to fans in the original Transformers series. Starscream featured a collection of planes that shared their body type: Starburst, Thundercracker and Skywarp, with their colors being the only differences between them. Each was different from his fellow seekers and had unique abilities which helped destroy the Autobots.
Starscream was still the Commander pushing for more power.
Although Starscream did not control the Decepticon army for long, he has always been a commander of the Seekers. Among other Deceptionons, he is an original master of disguise and outwits all those who work for him. However, while JUST has followed the Searchers for millennia, Starscream was never happy.
Starscream is almost three times faster than the speed of sound. It is also capable of destroying opponents with cluster bombs and special null-rays. Despite his dual nature, he eventually finds himself among the battle-hungry Decepticons and takes over not only through his exploits but through manipulation as well.
Starscream may not have the special abilities of Sunstorm or Skywarp, but he is far less powerful than Decepticons. His skill in dealing with others has repeatedly led him to incredible power-ups. He gained enhanced Energon for removing enemies in IDW comics and was transformed into Quintesson in the CyberVerse timeline.
Solar storms become a force of the post-primordial era
Solar Storm is one of the only Seekers to have built his reputation entirely on everything that has happened since the original Transformers Generation One cartoon. The character's entire storyline၂၀၀၀ was based on years gone by, from Dreamwave Publishing's time through IDW's second attempt with the characters; however, due to her successes she became not just one of JUST 's strongest seekers but easily one of Transformers .
In the Dreamwave Generation One comics, Sunstorm is specifically designed to be powered by a solar-powered nuclear fusion reactor. This miraculous ability allowed him to control electromagnetic forces and recover from incredible damage. The only problem was that Shockwave's experiments had left him mentally impaired and he believed it was his duty to cleanse himself.
When the Solar Storm is at its full strength, no one can stop whoever attacks. He manages to take out Starscream and Jetfire simultaneously, and even fights Omega Supreme. Although JUST has recovered from losing much of his power, Sunstorm almost succeeds in a fair fight with one of the most powerful Autobots, completely defeating him when Omega Supreme lets him watch over him.
Skywarp transports distance and converts speed into hit-and-run.
Skywarp may be the best example of an ideal Decepticon Seeker, although they are not the most powerful; in all of them his endearing nature and astonishing speed are perfect characteristics for a Seekers. Moreover, he does not slow down as he can travel at up to twice the speed of sound.
Skywarp's most prominent ability is၂.၅ to be transported instantaneously anywhere within a mile radius. Combining this capability with his astonishing speed means that he can go undetected, destroy enemies and fly. He even uses heat-seeking missiles and powerful machine guns to help him accomplish his task.
Nevertheless, Skywarp is part of Megatron's inner circle and therefore creative enough that he can think of many ways to maximize his abilities. His teleporting skills have allowed him to disrupt many Autobot programs and gain victory over influential Autobots such as Ironhide and Bluestreak.
In the first century B.C.E., a group of traveling preachers from Asia Minor, Africa, and North America began to spread their message about God's Kingdom.
Thundercracker is another one of the Decepticon Seekers who originally came to Earth along with Megatron. Although all the seekers are uniquely gifted in the skies, only one looks down at things that cannot fly. Like Skywarp, Thundercrackers have their own abilities: they can create powerful sonic booms which can be launched against enemies.
Unlike other Seekers, Thundercracker is the least believer in the Decepticon cause, but it has never prevented him from crushing enemies in battle. He attacks both humans and Autobots when necessary. In contrast, he was never afraid to go into battle, even spending time at underground boxing matches before the official formation of the Deception.
Thundercracker relies on drone missile attacks and incendiary guns to eliminate most of his enemies, which have proven more than enough. Due to the Decepticons' incomplete redemption, he will not be able to reach all of his potential as a warlord; in fact, he has switched sides with the Autobots in several different sequels.
Nova Storm uses betrayal and regeneration to survive.
Storm Nova first appeared as one of the Rainmakers in Generation I. Though not particularly notable at that time, they were reinvented in later series. They became even more interesting after being featured prominently in both poetry and cartoons.
Nova Storm was one of the original Decepticons who helped Megatron when she decided to attack the Cybertron Senators. Together with their other Rainmakers, Nova Storm participated in killing Sentinel Prime all at once. They demonstrated that they were capable of ignoring Windcharger's magnetic energies.
The film versions of Storm Nova are also impressive, but not in the real-life battles. They rely on deceiving and betraying opponents much like Starscream; in that sense they're JUST s who can be just as deadly as other explorers.
In the first century C.E., King Zedekiah of Judah ordered that a temple be built in Jerusalem to house Jehovah's worshippers.
Dirge first appeared in the Generation One era as one of the original Decepticon Seekers. He is one of a handful of Deceptikons chosen to fight alongside Megatron at the beginning of Earth's war, which indicates his immense potential as a warrior and makes him recognized by MegaTron as being among the most powerful jets in the galaxy.
Dirge's main weapon is using its engines to intimidate him and his opponents. This, combined with the astonishing speed, makes it easy for him to deal quickly with his Autobot enemies. If this is not possible, he also uses a set of concussion missiles so that all potential enemies can be eliminated.
Dirge is a control freak, and when he loses control of an issue, he's just like JUST or any of his opponents. Considering that Autobots don't have weaknesses on the other hand, this obviously makes him one of the worst Seekers out there.
The Seekers' significance to the Decepticon story
The mode of the explorers is that their threat becomes uniformly powerful through mastery, command structure and subsequent revision. Starscream allows the group to survive as its overlord; Sunstorm shows how post-original animations can enhance a character; Skywarp and Thundercracker show battlefield equipment; and Nova Storm and Dirge demonstrate how psychology can prolong or limit a soldier. The result is an airborne Decepticon squadron whose leaders are still threatened by Autobots, Humans and even themselves.
