Cybertron's Civil War has been rewritten many times in comic books, games, film and television, with each sequel choosing a different breach. What remains constant is the pattern: A single battle destroys critical defenses, removes a leader or costs the Original World itself. Transformers : The Battle for CybertronThe film is a prequel to the original G1 animated series, and follows the events of Omega Supreme's defeat, Tyger Pax's downfall in IDW's 2007, and Unicron's attack on 2005. Kaon: Megatron transforms the Gladiator warehouse into a throne.

I was inside. The Transformers : Megatron originallyBeginning as miner , Megatron gradually grew frustrated with a system that exploits workers and protects some privileged in class society. He built his movement on the Shire, turning the city into a base where he could challenge Cybertron's established leadership. His experiences from the battlefields of King's Quest transform his anger into an ideology that appeals to followers who reject the current political order.

Megatron's allies attempt to free the prisoners and recruit them into the rebellion. Soundwave and Starscream assist in overthrowing the city's current leadership. Sentinel Prime himself enters the fray, using his powerful Apex armor as a direct confrontation withMegatron.

This victory gives the Decepticons a garrison, an expanding army and a symbol of their powerful resistance against Cybertron's regime. It also marks his movement giving up in order to achieve political reform and reveals how revolutionary goals have been transformed into the desire for absolute power.

The siege of Iacon leads to the beheading of Autobot Command.

The Siege of Iacon Transformers : The Battle for Cybertron Megatron attacks the Autobot City in order to obtain the Omega Key. He reaches into Cybertron's core and destroys it with Dark Energon, which can control the planet's central systems. The Decepticons take over as a shortcut for world domination because the key gives access to the core.

Zeta Prime holds the key to the vault against Dark Energon, so that Decepticon bombers can break through the armor before attacking the facility. Megatron defeats Autobot leader in a one-on-one battle and punctures Prime's chest. The stolen device only unlocks the authentic Omega Key, which brings Omega Supreme to life and makes him laugh as he moves his hand.

Iacon burns down, and the Autobots lose their Prime in the same attack that abandoned the city's defenses. Optimus gives a temporary order to open an Autobot campaign by re-activating satellite guns and recapturing the Decagon. The High Council subsequently identifies him as the new Prime, thus breaking one leader of the circle and creating another.

The defeat of Omega Supreme opens the way to the nucleus.

The Omega Supreme protects Iacon as the Autobots' last line of defense. Transformers : The Battle for Cybertron Pluto awakens while the Decepticons are searching for the Key, hurling Megatron's ship and crashing it in the center of the city.

Soundwave detects Nucleon Shock Cannon turrets on the tower's roof, and Megatron attacks the giant with Autobots' own weapons. Omega Supreme crashes into the lower levels and is transformed within an impact cave, where Guardian unleashes a robot-mode barrage upon the team. Eventually, Megatran overwhelms the protector, infecting Omega with Dark Energon and capturing the Key of Life.

Megatron unleashes the corrupted Omega Supreme into Cybertron's core and pours Dark Energon into the heart of the planet. Optimus later frees Omega, explaining that the cure itself requires millions of years to close. The Autobots must leave, and a battle for a door ends the lives of the Autobot on their home world.

Tyger Pax: Trading the life of Cybertron

The prequel to IDW's film ၂၀၀၇ takes place on Tyger Pax during the final stages of the Civil War between Optimus Prime and Lord High Protector Megatron.

Optimus' main force holds the Decepticons at Simfur, leaving Bumblebee's unit consisting of Arcee and Inferno to gain time on Tyger Pax. Megatron arrives and turns the tide against a smaller force, with the Autobots deciding to launch.

Tyger Pax dies during launch, and Cybertron loses the AllSpark that gave life to the species. The planet faces a slow death and the Autobots are faced with an eventual departure. Megatron's pursuit brings the war to Earth where an Arctic expedition led by Archibald Witwicky finds their frozen Decepticon leader.

The attack of Unicron nearly dismembers Cybertron.

The battle with Unicron takes place around Cybertron, in the year ၂၀၀၅ of the original G1 film sequel. The Transformers : the movieA planet-sized Unicron eats the entire world and instructs Megatron to rebuild it into Galvatron and destroy the Matrix of Leadership, an artifact that could defeat him. When Galwatron fails to obey, Unicron becomes a giant robot, destroying Cybertron's moons and directly attacking the planet.

The Decepticons are unable to stop Unicron with conventional combat, and Galvatron's attempt to fight the creator ends when he swallows Unicron along with the Matrix. The Autobots then infiltrate the Unit Cronus through his eyes in order to find a way to rescue the captured cops and destroy him from within. Hot Rod faces off against galvatron, takes over the matrix, becomes Rodimus Prime, and releases the power inside the unit to destroy the planet-eater.

Rodimus' victory removes the threat that no group could defeat by conventional military means, allowing the Autobots to recapture Cybertron. Unicron's attack destroys the lunar bases of the Autbots, and the final confrontation leaves the Decepticons weakened and disorganized.

The Ark's final battle drives the Autobots from their dying home world.

The ultimate battle for the box is about to begin. Transformers : The fall of CybertronPlanetary destruction leaves the Autobots with few options to evacuate to safety. Optimus Prime arranges for Ark's departure, and Metroplex gives up its remaining power to provide the energy needed for launch. The ship escapes Cybertron but is pursued by the Decepticons who assure him that he must fight one last battle for survival.

Megatron pursues Ark aboard Nemesis and launches an attack when the ships approach a shaky Space Bridge. Soundwave coordinates boarding operations, with help from Rumble and Laserbeak stopping Ark's defensive guns; Bruticus destroys the ship's outer defenses and damages Energon's hull.

Although the Autobots have escaped from Cybertron, Megatron forces remain a threat as they leave their dying planet for war in space.

Star Saber and the restored Core end the war

Transformers : Primary Megatron plans to transform himself into the new Cybertron, abandoning his current ecosystem and inhabitants to create a world under Decepticon's control using Omega Lock. Optimus Prime therefore attacks the ship to stop Megatrone while retaining Autobots' right to rebuild their own planet.

The battle spreads through Nemesis as the Autobots attack the Omega Lock, and Optimus confronts Megatron. Megatron kills Bumblebee when the explorer tries to give him the Star Saber, but Bumble Bee falls into Omega Lock's energy field and reanimates his voice and resurfaces.

The Autobots are able to rebuild Cybertron using the Omega Key, and Megatron is no longer allowed to transform Earth into a mechanical world.
