Ten years after the end of the original Bleach manga, creator Tite Kubo explained to Oricon that he had conceived a storyline in which Orihime Inoue was murdered during the series' original manga run. This comment came as Kubo discusses anime-original sequences created specifically for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War The Calamity, including Episode 45 "DEFEND YOU".
Kubo's plan for Orihime would be a dramatic change.
Such a storyline would be an intense development with huge implications for the rest of the franchise. In the original manga's sequel, however, Orihime and Ichigo live happily together after being married for many years.
How does Kubo balance the anime-original additions?
In Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 45, Orihime states that he has rejected Yhwach, and the source gives an image to Studio Pierrot.

Ichibe Hyosube entrusts Ichigo Kurosaki and his allies with the protection of Soul King, but due to Yhwach's deception, Ichigo stabs the Soul King to death.
The thirteen palace guards join the surviving Quincies and head for the royal castle, but fall under Wandenreich's control transformed into Wahr Welt. Royal guards await them in their citadel; a devil watches over heaven.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War The Calamity received widespread acclaim from critics and audiences upon its release. At the time of writing, it has a rating8.9/10 through the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), with over reviews၁၈၀၀၀ for the title.[3]
The film stars Masakazu Morita as Ichigo Kurosaki, Noriaki Sugiyama as Uryu Ishida, Yuki Matsuoka as Orihime Inoue, and Hiroki Yasumoto as Yasutora Sado.
