These are the 22 best-rated Jujutsu Kaisen characters.
The article ranks 22 Jujutsu Kaisen characters and analyzes Yuji, Gojo, Nobara, Mahito, Junpei, and other villains shaped by cursed energy and trauma.
When Gege Akutami's manga၂၀၂၀ was first published in, Jujutsu Kaisen promptly took the place of the Dark Shonen Trio to emerge. Since episode 1, this series has been different from other dark shonen anime and one key point of that difference seems to be consistency with the characters. The protagonist Yuji Itadori is often overwhelmed after being thrown into a supernatural world of cursed energy and spirits, but he quickly becomes his fan favorite. Together with his classmates Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki, their immensely powerful and irritable teacher Satoru Gojo, the casting team can even stand out as relatable villains in shonen animation.
Nobara Kugisaki was a fierce ally and fighter.
Nobara Kugisaki is one of the best female characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, and she's not only a good friend but also the most popular Jujutsu Sorcerer. Her Straw Doll Cursed Technique is exceptionally brutal as it undoes curse after curse; however, Nobara doesn't just fight but has many hearts too.
In the anime, his fate implied that he did not die, but according to the manga's final chapters, Nobara recovered JUST in time to rescue his friend. It was actually Nobara's Straw Doll Technique that punched the last nail into Sukuna's grave, allowing Yuji to defeat the villain and save Megumi. On the other hand, the recovery of Nobara has transformed this latest achievement into an equally successful one on its own.
The Bible says: "Everyone that keeps on looking at a woman so as to have a passion for her has already committed adultery".
Anime fans love good villains, and Jujutsu Kaisen has his fair share of those bad guys as well. While Mahito swallowed Kenjaku's Infinite Tsukuyomi at the end of Season 2 and used it for fuel, he made sure to only hate her imagination every time during the first two seasons.
In the first two seasons, he takes a lot from Yuji: starting with Junpei, a troubled child whom he desperately tries to rescue, and ending with his teacher Nanami and teammate Nobara Kugisaki.
As Mahito was cleared by Kenjaku as quickly as possible, many fans felt robbed and wanted to see Yuji himself end the curse. Fortunately for us, the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo series had one final confrontation between the two, but what they called a fight between them was short-sighted. While Maru stripped down Mahito's soul so he could access the cursed energy, Yuji didn't even sweat.
"I've always wanted to be a doctor, but I have never been able to do it", she says.
Junpei Yoshino's Jujutsu Kaisen is short but meaningful. The time she spends with Yuji feels like a slice of life about two new friends, but this isn't Junpei's destiny. When he finally becomes the villain JUST He is an unfortunate child who hopes to have damaging consequences for his tormentors.
Junpei could have escaped if he had spent more time with Yuji Itadori instead of Mahito. Junpei's death was one of the hardest because he was the first person that Yuji couldn't save, and Junpei embodied everything Yuji did, which greatly affected his character. Although Junpei is not a fan favorite, his time on screen has had a huge impact on the storyline.
The Bible says: "He that is walking with wise persons will become wise".
While many people associate Jujutsu Kaisen with its dark, sinister storylines and equally troubled characters, there are a number of heroes in this series that are fun to watch. Kinji Hakari, the notorious criminal from Jujutsu High, is one such character. Fans admire his complex and intense personality.
The next aspect of Hakari's character is his abilities, which many fans dislike. It is the sorcerer's Idle Death Gamble Domain Expansion. Among all Jujutsu Kaisen characters, Hakari has an amusing strategy that grants him temporary immortality and victory.
The Bible says: "Jehovah himself will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry anymore".
Another character with a villainous culture, Kokichi Muta, was introduced through his puppet Ultimate Mechamaru. In doing so, it became apparent that Muta suffered from chronic severe conditions due to heaven's restriction and was not allowed to truly enjoy life alongside his peers at Kyoto Jujutsu High School. Fans were prepared to significantly dislike Mahito and his pact, but this was only a gimmick.
The battle was one of the explosions in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, but ended with Mechamaru's death at Machito's hands. However, Mota had programmed smaller versions of Mechamaro to transmit important information and ensured that even his own death would not prevent this noble character from supporting its allies.
Hiromi Higuruma has quickly become a fan favorite.
Initially introduced as a minor antagonist in the Culling Game arc, Hiromi Higuruma had an amazing character transformation. She went from being a memorable but unimportant one-time villain to one of the series' most intriguing exhibits. Unlike most characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, Higurama has no history of being a wizard; her abilities are only revealed at the start of the game.
Although Higurama is one of the characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, his outstanding skills, talented intelligence and great power as a judge have made him an elite player. However, Higuruma's abilities do little to make him an interesting character. Originally a non-magician, he sets himself apart from most other heroes in Jujitsu Kaisen.
Togo Inumaki continues to be a source of support for his friends
Toge Inumaki is a second-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High School along with Panda and Maki Zenin. He does not speak, and his words are always only the names of food ingredients, but silence enhances his appeal. Many people consider him distant and hostile, and Yuta himself took several months to befriend Toge.
In the images from Studio MAPPA, Toge uses his curse-speak technique to combat a cursed spirit. Although Togie Inumaki only appears briefly after the second season of the anime, her comforting and supportive attitudes have been enough to make him one of the best of all Jujutsu Kaisen characters.
Yuki Tsukumo fights curses that are beyond the power of Jujutsu.
Yuki Tsukumo is an unusual character in Jujutsu Kaisen, and many of her subjects are shrouded in mystery. Although she is known to have taught Aoi Todo and was one of the most incredible fighters, much about her past remains unknown. She is a Special Grade Sorcerer with miraculous powers.
In the images of Studio MAPPA, Yuki is shown calling herself a shikigami. Furthermore, her habit of asking people what kind of women they have only adds to the peculiarities of its appeal. Although she doesn't take everything seriously, she wants more than anything to fit in with the situation.
Fumihiko Takabara is truly a breath of fresh air.
Fumihiko Takaba becomes a sorcerer through Kenjaku and is one of the main contenders for the Culling Game. Though Takaba's Comedian is theoretically brave enough to threaten even Satoru Gojo's Limitless, his lack of experience with Jujutsu Sorcery prevents him from becoming one of its strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen.
Takaba often tells jokes in the middle of a fight. Without Comedian, it would be very risky for him to reveal any truth that he considers funny to Takaba. As such, he easily matches Kenjaku himself and subsequently attracts Catabara's attention. Their battle is one of the funniest scenes in Jujutsu Kaisen, providing further evidence supporting placement on Takaba's roster.
Uraume and Sukuna's relationship proves that he has a heart.
When their character was first introduced, fans did not immediately like Uraume. As one of Sukuna's original staff members in the Heian period, Uraume threatened the safety of the knights and simultaneously insulted them. Studio MAPPA visuals show Uraume using curse energy. Despite being ranked at the bottom of the list, uraume's amazing character development has made more fans appreciate him on an emotional level.
After Sukuna's death in Jujutsu Kaisen, Uraume partially collapsed from the battle with Kirinji and took their own lives. The sequel also depicts a surprising heartbreak between Uraume and Sukuna. Being his only personal contact to the Cursed King, it is clear that Uraume has a heart within his body.
While traveling through the realms of death, Sukuna and Uraume wandered together to wherever there was a destiny for their souls. JUST Yuji explains that it wasn't she who transformed Sukuna; often disrespected Uraume even appears on the list.
To Our Readers
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo later delivered the final clash of Mahito and Yuji; the manga's concluding chapters describe Nobara's restoration and her role in fighting Sukuna, while a subsequent chapter re-establishes Uraume's relationship with Sukuna as one. The point for readers is that the series resonance comes not only from cursed energies, battles, and villains but also to characters who don't care about these battles.
