The 10 most difficult Inuyasha episodes to watch today
The director found it difficult to review the ten Inuyasha episodes because of their sometimes comforting but fulfilling pace, old-school humor and awkward romance.
Inuyasha Rewatch shows how a disgraceful 10 episodes slow down history with old-fashioned humor and awkward romances.
In a rewatch-focused discussion of Inuyasha, he identified 10 sections that were difficult to review due to filler pacing, dated humor, and inappropriate thinking. Judge does not consider complexity as proof of failure, arguing that what distinguishes these sections from the more robust fillers is comfort.
Scenes that distract from the main plot.
Totosai's Rigid Training Recap sends Inuyasha to Naraku for enough technique to break through the barrier, but Swordsman has so much more. Bunza, a young feral demon trained under Tottō, joins in with Enuiya as he involves the two in several grueling missions. The whole plot shows that no matter how hilarious it is, at least Inuyash must acquire new skills he gained.
Koga and Sesshomaru: A Dangerous Encounter further complicates the issue. The two heroes are honorable warriors with a complex history, comparable in strength to Inuyasha. Their story is wasted on an anticlimactic decision for Koge to decide that there was no reason to fight against Sesshumaru.
The Panther Tribe and the Two Swords of the Fang formally ends the story of the panther tribe. Inuyasha and Sissomaru face off against a panther king who has the ability to transform into an undead corpse. This gives the brothers an excuse to fight together, which eventually leads to Sitsumaru using Tenshiga on the Panther King.
The obsession with love makes many episodes more difficult to review.
Chokyukai and the Abducted Bride is an uncomfortable addition based on chocolate, a demon bear who captures young women for use with magical headdresses. The demon helps Inuyasha and his friends solve yet another mystery: Kagome becomes one of his intended brides, but she gets special when the group must rescue her. Comparisons to Journey to the West are certainly entertaining, but make it difficult to enjoy the drama due to its oppressive romance.
The Woman Who Loved Sesshomaru portrays tragedy as a love story. Sarah Asano's love for Seshomaru confronts desperation to save her people. She tries to steal Tessaiga from Inuyasha by revealing her feelings for him and how they affect his choices and image.
The Female Wolf Demon and the Lunar Rainbow Promise gives Ayame a complex introduction. Ayame tells her that he promised to marry Koga after rescuing her many years ago, but Koga seems to have forgotten this promise. Despite his firm claim of love for Kagome, Ayame abandons him and follows him into danger near Naraku's palace.
Those little side stories felt like they had nothing to do with the plot.
Shippo's New Technique The Heart Scar is non-progressive. Five Fox demons are involved with Wind Scar as one of the heroes and ask him to learn a technique originally owned by Inuyasha. While dealing with Mizuki, Shipo plays along. Watching Shippa get more deceived is its most enjoyable part, but the whole adventure feels oddly small compared to the surrounding situation.
The Beautiful Sister Apprentices is an early side story. Sango returns to a ruined demon-slaying village in order to fix Hiraikotsu and honor her. Serina and Suzuna ask him to train them, and although they seem like admirers at first, reveal that their village has already been destroyed and want to continue the tradition of stealing divine relics. Their story gives Sango a chance to pass on what he learned from his foster father, which was actually a meaningful problem - just some time to get into the room.
Sango and the others gradually uncover Tesso's intentions. Although Kirara is mistaken for a dangerous creature, giving him some personal information to respond to Sango, the mystery itself isn't complicated enough to warrant many challenges. The story arrives at a point where Naraku's threat feels more pressing.
Inuyasha and his crew help the villagers who are being threatened by three demonic monkeys in search of their God Pot. Gon, Bun, and Ken are more intrusive than menacing, and their actions lead to some truly hilarious moments. Throughout the episode, its humor is done so perfectly that the series' dark side almost disappears. This can be a lawsuit or an issue, depending on what makes one happy in the first place.

The Bible says: "He that is walking with wise persons will become wise, and he that is having insight will understand understanding".
The list suggests that Inuyasha's most difficult episodes are not always failures; they are scenes in which supplementary logic, a comedic timeline or a fictional setting seem to be out of step with the main storyline. Naraku's urgency, Sesshomaru's psychological distance, Koga's romantic complications and Shippo's waste of energy create the greatest friction. Rated card upgrades and Recommended For You breaks are part of separate pages rather than as plot elements, so viewers can reframe what they want - whether it is an epic novel, character development, or simple side-stories that don't require much more electricity from the big screen.
